Adding a Snippet to a Template

To add a Snippet so that it is displayed on every page in a site, you include it in the Main Site template.

You access this from the main Site Manager page (bottom hot spot).

Click on the button ' Template'.

The template page which opens consists of a table showing the six zones (Masthead, TitleBar, LMargin,Body,RMargin,Footer) and the Snippets that are contained within each zone. The Snippets are displayed in the left most column.

To add a Snippet to a section of the template, click on a blank option in the left most pop up window, and select the Snippet you wish to add. Select either the default box for that zone, or another box, the Width and Height as percentages, and (most importantly), the position that Snippet should occupy in the zone. The snippets are arranged in order from the lowest position to the highest (not necessarilly the order they are displayed in the Edit Template window.)

The 'Next To' snippet is special in that Snippets with 'Next To' in between are placed side by side, rather than top to bottom.

Don't forget to click' Save Template' when your changes are complete.
