Imagebank - Uploading and Editing Images

Imagebank is a special package to upload and edit images within the LemLink system.

Note that you can also upload an image as part of the normal page editing feature

You access Imagebank from the button bar on the main Site Manager page (bottom hot spot from any page)

Uploading Images

A form at the top of the screen allows you to upload a new image from your hard disk.

A number of Image Formats are supported

The fields are

Name of ImageNominate a name for the image ,eg 'Mona Lisa'
Select an Imageclick the Browse button and then select the image file eg 'monalisa.jpg'
Select the Categoryoptionally select a category for the image. You can choose an existing category from the pop up or nominate a new category eg Paintings
ArtistOptional
ShareClip Art of general interest can be shared between LemLink webmasters.
KeywordsOptional - to assist searching
DescriptionOptional
Resize A web screen can be of any size - but you should remember that large images can take a long time to download. You can resize your images to an appropriate size as they are uploaded using this pop-up.

Click Upload File when you are done.

The screen refreshes to display the file you have selected and some information about it.

Editing Images

On the Imagebank page, each image in your 'Imagebank' is displayed, ordered by category.
Click on 'Edit' beneath an image to edit or resize that image.
